First Meet Each Other

We were actually cousins—maternal cousins. That’s why there is no specific day or moment that marks our first meeting. We have known each other since childhood. Growing up in the same home, sharing the same courtyard, and countless childhood memories, our first meeting happened long before we could ever name it.

Back then, we never realized that this familiar face would one day become the most precious person in our lives.

He Proposed Me

Because he was my cousin, I never imagined our story would take this turn. He was someone I had known since childhood—a familiar face, a familiar bond. But after our families decided on our marriage, everything slowly began to change.

One day, out of the blue, he sent me a picture on WhatsApp. It was simple, yet incredibly meaningful. On a snow-covered road, he had written my name, and just beneath it— “I love you.”

There were no grand gestures or dramatic moments. But that small picture spoke straight to my heart. That was the moment I realized—some feelings arrive quietly, but stay forever.

I Love You.”

Events

Because we were cousins, our Mehndi and Turmeric ceremonies were celebrated together. It wasn’t just a matter of tradition—it felt natural. Two families, one gathering, shared laughter, shared colors, and shared joy, all coming together to celebrate us as one.

Wedding Ceremony

On our wedding day, getting ready took a little longer than expected. By the time the ceremony was underway, it was already past 3 PM. After the rituals, we shared a delicious meal with all our guests and then had a fun and memorable photo shoot.

We were fortunate to have everyone with us, including some special guests: Abdur Rahman Ripon, Al Amin Bhuiyan, and JS Hasan Sharif. The chief guest of the day was Kadir Membor.

As the wedding program came to an end, we set off for Dhaka in the evening. By the time we reached home, it was almost 10 PM—a long, joyful, and unforgettable day that we will always cherish.
